On the road to Gallup
Looking at Lake from Bolder City. The old downtown is quite nice Kinda of like a Calistoga or Nevada City. I also missed the turn off to Hoover Dam.

The sign says no selling but.

The next two photos are of Seligam one of may old Route 66 Tourist towns, had lunch. Interstate 40 follows a lot of Route 66 so you get a lot of these towns.

Drive though Arizona was a grind. Half of the traffic was trucks with the speed limit the same as cars, 75mph, and the terrain was very hilly made for some dicey moments. The first part of Arizona was desert, then pine forest and back to kind of a Red Rock desert. I never realize Flagstaff had an elevation of 6000 plus feet.
This goes after the guys selling, just an interesting view.

Lot of Indian stuff for sale

As soon as I cross the border into New Mexico the landscape changed, much better looking.
